Privacy policy

What I collect

• When you ask for a quote: your name, email and brand, and anything you choose to add, such as a phone number, your website, links to footage or references, and your project details.
• When you take the savings quiz: your answers, without your name. If you ask for your plan by email, also your name, email and the link you give.
• When you pay by card: Stripe handles your card, and I never see its number. I receive your name, email, the amount and whether the payment went through.
• When you book a call: Cal.com handles the booking and shares the time, your name and your email with me.
• When you visit: the company hosting the site processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect them. It also counts visits for me, without cookies and without identifying you: the page you open, the site you came from, and your country, device and browser.

Why I use it

• To reply to you, prepare your offer, do the work and invoice it, because you asked me to.
• To follow up on a quote or quiz you sent, because that is part of running my business. Ask me to stop at any time.
• To keep accounting records, because the law requires it.
• To see what kind of help clients need, from quiz answers that carry no name.
• To see which pages help visitors, from visit counts that identify no one.

I do not sell your information, and I do not send newsletters.

Who else handles it

Google stores briefs and emails in my account (Gmail, Sheets and Drive). Stripe takes card payments, Cal.com takes bookings, and Cloudflare hosts the site, counts its visits and checks that the forms are sent by people, not bots. Each one uses your information only to provide its service to me.

These companies, like mine, are based in the United States, so your information may be stored there. They commit to protecting information that comes from Europe using safeguards approved by the European Commission.

How long I keep it

• Project information, including your footage, for as long as you might want later changes, and up to 3 years after we last worked together. Ask me and I delete it sooner.
• Invoices and payment records, for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Quiz answers without a name, for up to 3 years.

On your device

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies, and counts visits without storing anything on your device. Your browser keeps your quote answers on your device, so a refresh does not lose them. They only leave your device when you send them, and Start over clears them.

Stripe's payment page, Cal.com's calendar and Cloudflare's spam check on the forms may use their own cookies when they run, under their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how I use it, by emailing hello@studiogalland.com. I answer within a month.

If you are in the EU or the UK and unhappy with my answer, you can complain to your data protection authority. In France, that is the CNIL.

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with its date.
